Glasgow is noted for its 19th to early 20th century Victorian architecture Glasgow Style as developed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Another example is the Kelvin Grove Art Gallery and Museum which was designed by Sir John W. Simpson. I studied photography in Glasgow so I had to get to know the city for the first time. When I walked through the city during the day and looked up at the architecture, I was amazed; however when I started to photograph the city at night I was like that excited child back in the sweetie shop. I was even more amazed at how much more the city architecture came alive at night when each building was lit up.
